The new Fox 34 is the fork intended for Trail, All-Mountain practice.

Fox has completely revised his copy. The weight / stiffness ratio improves thanks to lower weights and unchanged stiffnesses. The chassis of the 34 evolves greatly. Two modifications are very visible. The fork arch has been modified to fit better with current frames which have short and widened head tubes.

Massive and announced very rigid, the arch offers a clearance that allows the installation of 29×2.60 section tires on the 34. At the rear of the fork, two channels follow the legs.
Small explanation: it is a logical phenomenon, in empty spaces, the air pressure increases, inside the fork, when the fork takes the travel. This uncontrolled overpressure can sometimes prevent the rider from using the entire race. Fox has equipped its new 34 with additional channels placed in the legs, these prevent overpressure build-up. This technology is also available on Enduro 38 & 36 forks.

This new construction also promotes permanent lubrication of seals and guide rings. The operation will thus be, at least in theory, smoother and it will be easier to use all the travel of the fork. The Evol air spring has a negative spring readjusted to improve the handling of the fork at mid-travel. In 2022, the forks are delivered with a shim that allows this volume to be adjusted according to your wishes, more linearity or more progressiveness.

Fit4 Cartridge:

Being the fourth generation, our patented FIT4 (FOX Isolated Technology) sealed cartridge system allows three instantaneous compression damping positions (open, medium and firm) to adapt to different trail conditions. The Factory Series forks additionally feature 22 clicks of low-speed compression adjustment in open mode to allow mountain bikers to fine-tune damping.

The FIT4 cartridge has been redesigned taking inspiration from the HSC / LSC model, which has been acclaimed many times, in order to improve damping whatever the fork. This year, the FIT4 shock comes with a new tuning that provides better sensitivity while retaining support.
