Few things could annoy Newton as much as the Monarch XX. To put it simply, this shock absorber is the only one to offer even higher energy performance in an even lighter package … which apparently seems to defy Newton’s famous “laws” of physics. The Monarch XX indeed takes up the challenge, offering the possibility of locking the rear suspension using a simple XLoc Sprint button installed on the handlebars.

The 100% hydraulic system and lever are fully sealed, so unlike cable systems, the Monarch XX is resistant to contamination. If Newton were still alive, he probably wouldn’t be very excited to revisit his theories. But a few kilometers on the Monarch XX would certainly inspire a new way of thinking and riding.
